The Academic Startup Competition challenges universities and scientific institutions to nominate their best spin-off startups and join the race for the 10 Dutch Pioneering Innovations from Science.

Science and entrepreneurship are brought together, of which these academic startups are setting the example.

The competition contributes to the national effort to more effectively translate excellent science into societal impact. The first-ever selection day will be held at Epicenter Amsterdam on May 14th, after which the 10 best academic startups will get the opportunity to present themselves at GES 2019.
