12 Innovative European Entrepreneurs at TEDxBinnenhof 2016

THE HAGUE – The third edition of TEDxBinnenhof with the theme ‘Ideas from Europe’ takes place
at the Knight’s Hall in The Hague on March 31 2016. In the context of the Dutch presidency of the
EU, 12 speakers from different European member states will share their ideas to better Europe and
the world.

The speakers were selected from 28 candidates who pitched their ideas in Luxembourg in November
of last year. Ten of them were selected by a jury. The other two by public voting on the website of
TEDxBinnenhof. After massive campaigns by Charalampos (Harris) Ioannou from Greece and Micael
Hermansson from Sweden, securing 80 per cent of nearly 60.000 votes between them,
TEDxBinnenhof decided to award both the two leading candidates with a spot on the stage in the
Knight’s Hall. TEDxBinnenhof is an invitation-only event. For those who cannot attend TEDxBinnenhof
