Join the Final WEnnovate Stakeholder Workshop (DUTCH) to shape Europe’s Energy Innovation Future. Register below!
We are pleased to invite you to an interactive workshop hosted by the WEnnovate project on October 21st at 12:30 PM in Provincie Utrecht. This engaging in-person event will be your final opportunity to influence the Innovation Plan for Digitalising the Energy System in the Netherlands and across Europe.
The goal of this workshop is to bring together diverse stakeholders to discuss concrete steps for advancing digitalization in the energy sector. We will focus on key challenges such as overcoming regulatory barriers, fostering collaboration opportunities, and leveraging digital tools to support the decentralized energy transition. Your input is crucial to ensure that the WEnnovate Innovation Plan reflects the perspectives and insights from across the energy ecosystem.
What You Can Expect:
Providing feedback: We will share insights from our extensive research on energy innovation and would love to hear your thoughts on the 40 recommendations we have formulated for the Netherlands and Europe, including proposals for regulatory reforms and digitalization priorities.
Shaping the future: Discuss how digitalization can contribute to energy democratization, support the integration of renewable energy, and help reduce overall grid costs.
Collaborating & Taking ownership: Explore how your organization can collaborate on action points within the innovation plan and contribute to its effective implementation.
Why Attend?
Last chance to contribute: Help shape the innovation plan with actions from key players and innovative parties. This plan will be submitted to the European Commission and the Ministry of Climate and Green Growth (formerly EZK), who will use it to develop their current visions and action plans
Shaping policy: Ensure that your voice is included in the future of energy innovation in Europe.
Networking & Collaboration: See how your initiative aligns with those of other organizations. Start collaborations with energy communities, quadruple helix representatives, and key players involved in the digitalization of the energy system.
This is a unique opportunity to drive real change in Europe's energy transition.

Providing Input & Preparation
In this survey, you can indicate which actions your organization is already involved in, whether you are interested in collaboration, seeking funding, can offer funding, or, for example, are encountering regulatory challenges. It would greatly help us if you could complete this survey well before the event (ideally as soon as possible). The more ongoing actions we are aware of in advance, the more we can achieve together during the meeting. Even if you are unable to attend, we would still appreciate your input to incorporate it into the innovation plan.
Lastly, we would like to know if you agree with all the recommendations in our report (from page 12). Do you have any additions or comments? You can provide your feedback here.
